Chengdu Shenzhen Intercity Freight Container Trains Realize Bi-directional Separation of Four Trains Every Week

According to China Logistics Group, on April 26th, the express container train from Chengdu Chengxiang Station to Shenzhen Pinghu South Station officially opened, and the freight container train between Chengdu and Shenzhen intercity has achieved bi-directional operation every Thursday.
This train is full of Baijiu, food, clothing, small household appliances and other products produced locally in Sichuan, and it runs to the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Within 40 hours of transportation, the cost of single box transportation is reduced by more than 40% compared with the previous transportation methods, which promotes the deep interaction between some western resource products and the open market of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and promotes the coordinated development of Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
It is also reported that by the end of 2023, China Railway Group, a subsidiary of China Logistics Group, launched a fast train from Shenzhen Pinghu to Chengdu Chengxiang, gradually forming a daily operation. In order to further reduce social logistics costs, this time we will rely on the layout of China Railway's national logistics service network, strengthen the organization of goods and container sources, achieve rapid assembly, round-trip turnover, and organize the operation of new trains.
